I've put a document over at the Wiki for first time VPS owners. This information actually applies to shared/reseller accounts as well, but the VPS systems are more in need of this HOWTO.
Most Registrars seem to be selling cheap domain names and trying to make up for the lack of profit by doing their darndest to force web hosting (and other "value-added") services onto the customer. As a result, most Registrar's make it difficult for you to change your Nameservers to A Small Orange (or any other web host) and nearly impossible to find out how to register custom Nameserver IP addresses (very important if you are running a VPS).
Because of the number of tickets we get asking how to register the IPs at any given Registrar (the answer is usually "I don't know, ask your Registrar"), I've started compiling step-by-step instructions for the Registrars I've used.
It's a two part document, and I encourage anyone who has knowledge of other Registrars to include basic steps on the second document.

Note: this should not be confused with merely changing your Nameservers at your Registrar, though I may whip up a HOWTO for that, since there are many new people registering domains and getting hosting for the first time. I've found that some of these new domain owners don't have the experience or background from the days when .com == Internic == Network Solutions and that was all you got.
Again, feel free to add your Registrar to that second document if you know how register Nameserver IPs.

Are the nameserver IPs listed in the wiki articles in the OP still correct after the server migration (with the addition of a third one (67.228.207.194) ?
