Can't you just "plug everything in" like you'd do at home?

All good?

Not when you have to re-route IPs.
BTW, turns out I was dumb and plugged into NIC2, not NIC1. Should be flying now.

Yeah, everything's good on my end.
I totally agree. My friend asked me why I didn't just run my own server from home, and this is why. I'd rather focus on working on my website and leave the actual maintenance of the servers up to people who are great at it.
Thanks a lot, Tim and ASO.

ok sounds great. this is why I buy hosting from companies based with real people and not outsourced

My personal website is nothing special; it's got a blog on it if you're bored and want something to read. I also frequent Twitter and Goodreads.

Sorry for the delay with getting started. We had some unknown paperwork to fill out at the old datacenter, since it's a multi-tenant building and they want to keep track of what goes in and out.

Tell them you are here to take over the world.

Everything is fine. It was a bit slow before, but it's returned to normal.
