not sure if this is the best place, but is it me or are some of the mySQL database's on Beta corrupted? more specifically the posts table of IPB database's?

Yeah theres something iffy going on with it since the reboot from the RAM upgrade.
Nice to have an alternate place to moan (I mean address the problem)

seems fixed now, after seeing a particular forum back up and working, i tried the repair Database tool again (first time i tried it earlier it gave me an error on one of the tables) and this time it worked fine
fixed the database right up...
wonder what the cause of this was though.

I believe the temp directory had been filled. I cleaned it out and the issue should be resolved now.

Why not add a cron job. So it empts the temp folder once a week or so. Or maybe, when there is x amount of space left. Then it's going to be emptied (don't know if red hat, has a checker for that)

Can't empty the whole thing, because there are some static files in there (mysql.sock and some things xfs creates), so it's not as simple as rm -rf /tmp/*
