I'd say a month or two, but there could be unforeseen circumstances. We do have to build a fair amount of stuff up on our own (like remote VPS rebooting, for instance).

That's a bummer. Ordering them in November and not really getting what you ordered until March or something crazy like that.

It's a bummer for me too because literally just in the last 2 or 3 weeks I have been using quite a bit more traffic and space and was looking at the VPS plans (with CPanel) to upgrade to. I guess I'll stick with the shared for now, but I'm looking forward to the VPS plans coming back. cool.gif

Wow, I never even knew these forums were around...guess I didn't look hard enough. I was trying to buy a client some space on a small orange tonite, but from what I'm reading I guess it's not happening. Anyone have any suggestions on setting up a sub-domain on my own server space and how to do it?

Good news. Dell's tracking info says the system was completed today (didn't know they worked on weekends) and will be shipped out on Monday, I assume. That means the earliest possible date to get the machine and get orders up and running again is Tuesday.

The ironic part: I can order from Dell and have them ship me a machine before Sun can even get theirs returned mellow.gif

I guess that says something for company quality. I bet it's amazing how different their customer business plans must look on paper.

What is Sun shooting for? They can't take returns on time, ship orders correctly (or on time for that matter) or even install the right hardware to make your magic happen.

Oh well. Welcome to technology in '06.

What's its name? happy.gif

--also, when will you be upgrading to 2.1.4? There are some annoying bugs that are fixed in that release which I'm experiencing here.

Is there some type of mail list that I can subscribe to that would notify me when additional VPS space becomes available?  <** waves Visa card at monitor **>

You could subscribe to the Company News forum, then you get an email everytime a new topic is posted, that's if Tim would make a new topic though tongue.gif.

Yes, I would like to reserve a large VPS account when they become available as well.

There needs to be some concern shown for the upgrade needs of current customers.

I don't want to leave ASO but I do need to upgrade SOON!

Tim, help!

They are showing concern, the VPS servers were having a lot of problem as far as I know, so they're not putting more people on there and giving them a bad experience.

Clicking on "Tiny" in the hosting plans shows ordering is down again.  Any idea when I'll be able to get another site up?

Thanks,

Kevin

They come back online at midnight. ASO have a certain cut-off limit for orders each day, after that limit is reached orders go offline until midnight.

But the point is I can't upgrade to anything right now, be it a larger VPS or a dedicated server.

Right now, I'm trapped in an account that I am rapidly outgrowing... any suggestions?
