btw im not trying to take credit for this. It was done by a variety of ppl @ msnfanatic.com

just like to show you this awesome code, so ppl on your site can log in with their msn messenger name, and it automatically sends invitation letters to all his/her contacts.

But just a few bugs here and there.....i don't know why.
- works @ localhost, but doesn't work at my site http://www.studentbuysell.com/
- when u put in the wrong password, it just repeats error message until browser crashes.

well here are the files attached (all three has to be in same folder):

msnpauth.php - authentication for msn messenger services
phplistgrab.php - grabs a list of your contact's email address
index.php - sends out the invitation letters to the email addresses from phplistgrab.php

I have made changes to index.php only. the other files are fine.

The basic files are in the first post. You will need to modify them for your site, which means you will need to know php.

If you can't work it out post in the msnfanatic forum!

This is a hosting forum.

BUY hosting. You DONT need an SMTP server to use a script that connect to MSN with PHP.

This topic is about CONNECTING to MSN with PHP.

If you are talking about SMTP I suggest you take your discussions to a programming forum.

Your script is probably not working because free hosts dont allow those sort of scripts

At the moment you have left the redirect in for the site who actually owns the script.

First you need to take out the redirect.

Second please provide a test passport account as I don't want to use mine incase the script is really unsafe
