I was emailed my first monthly bill for this plan today:

Total Due: $0.00

It will be the only bill I look forward to seeing each month (for life).

I received it too smile.gif
Any chance this could be changed from monthly to annual? Either is fine, though.

Thanks for the warning, Tim.  I hope you can delay it until the 15th, that's when I'll be able to purchase Lifetime Medium.  Please, please, please...

Do you mind posting the URLs on couple of sites for sure hosted on the lifetime server for speed test purposes? I’ve attached images of few of the tests I’ve done. Each site was tested 3 times and the best results are posted. I like the speed of the server you host “arcaderival” on.
GNAX.net’s home page speed is very impressive too; however the speed of one of the forum member’s site supposedly hosted on one of yours GNAX servers is kind of sluggish compared to the previous two.
Alertra.com was used for the speed spot check.
I’d appreciate any comments. Thanks.

Is it over.  I really want to get in on the action.  I get the following message when I try to register.

QUOTE
Due to a large number of sign ups today, orders have been automatically disabled for the day. This limit is to ensure we continue to have adequate capacity for the customers we take on and to prevent fraud. The system will allow orders to resume automatically starting tomorrow. Please check back at that time to place your order.

My sites hosted at TP (as someone's already said). The speeds the GNAX servers are currently getting will change fairly soon anyway (hopefully) because everything (Even the servers at ThePlanet that I've had no problems with at all, and I get decent speeds at) is being moved to AtlantaNAP when it opens (Suprisingly, in Atlanta).

P.S. www.asmallorange.com is also hosted at ThePlanet.

AtlantaNAP is using the same network as GNAX. They've got a local loop over some unused gas company fiber back to the same carrier hotel they're in right now. Nothing's going to be changing in that regard.

My point is- what is the reason for the difference in server performace? Is it the parent network, netconnections or anything else?
As I pointed earlier for example your 'pi' server at TP(ArcadeRival) performs much better than 'vincent' server at GNAX(wlkr.net).I also accidentally found links to your uptime.phps on google and I saw that server loads were alike at the time I’ve done the speed tests: 3-5 for Pi and 3.5-6 on Vincent.

It's because of the size of the page you were requesting. It's way too small to gauge an accurate speed measurement. It's like trying to tell how fast a car can accelerate to 60MPH by measuring it's speed over a 10 foot distance. Here's a test using Vincent with a larger 3.7MB download:

This is getting ridiculous.  I am still getting the "disabled for the day" message when I try to sign up.

I added the IP you just posted from to the allowed list, so try your order again. You'll be able to get around the limiter.

I'll be dropping the lifetime plans today, but if any existing customers want to upgrade to one, send in a ticket to billing and we'll get it worked out.

I was wondering if you still sell those life time plans, because I wanted one but I didn't have enough money, is there a way to extend it to the end of march ???

Send in an email to sales@asmallorange.com and cross your fingers.
