NeoMail Being Phased Out 11/1

Please make arrangements by backing up any stored contacts you have in your NeoMail address book. All mail will be saved, as that is stored on the server, but NeoMail contacts will not transfer to other accounts. We will be removing NeoMail at the end of the month. Shortly after that, we will be converting all mailboxes over to the new format.
Most will find SquirrelMail similar to NeoMail in terms of featureset. While this will leave only 2 webmail options available, we do expect cPanel to add more webmail options in the future.
Update:
Neomail's stored address books are saved on the server in hidden directories in your home directory. They are in the format .neomail, .neomail-username, or .neomail-username-domain.com and the address book files are in the directory below those. You can access these directories with both SSH and most FTP clients that support listing hidden directories. You may need to turn on this option in your FTP client to see them. Please do not delete hidden directories you see, as they contain critical system information (which is why they are normally hidden).

Zimbra is really sluggish for me
Just realized it's a separate Java-based server. Don't think that's going to fly...

Ah, why does it have to be Java of all things. Go with RoundCube then? It's cool too.

For those that want to do it on their VPS, it's done via the command line with the /scripts/convert2maildir command. Very simple and menu-based

I used the one in WHM, it had a link to upgrade it. It said I could use the command line one like you said above but didn't bother since the online one does the samething, it still runs the script.
