Ok, again, as all of the above, sorry for bumping this(in the meantime) old post,but what about it?
XMMP would be a really great addition, and I (as some of the above) would pay for having it.

I 23rd this request. If you guys offered openfire xmpp you would make a killing.

Another vote here for making a jabber/XMPP server available through either cpanel or on a VPS.
