Hi!

Just wondered if anyone could advise me, I need to change the current banner on my forum. So far I have been using the standard phpbb banner that comes with the SunSilver template, but I really want to change it to an image I have and would like to know how. Is it a simple case of swapping the files around, but keeping the file name? Please help.

Overwriting the existing file with your new file would be the easiest way to do it.  Don't have to touch the code that way.

If I remember correctly you need to amend the overall_header.tpl file which has the phpBB logo in it - make sure this is changed to your new image.

Alternatively as Chris says, simply overwrite the current file.

Its probably cached into your memory.

Do CTRL+F5 and it'll refresh.

Great! I got the banner to work! smile.gif Thanks guys.

Only problem is some of my forum users can't see it. It's a minority, but how come for some people it's not visible?

The best way to do it is just to find phpbb_logo in your templates directory and replace that.
