Hello,
Just letting you know there is a new version of cpanel. We are using: 10.0.0-RELEASE 7 , and the newest is 10.0.0-RELEASE 85  blink.gif .

http://layer2.cpanel.net/

Didn't we just update to release 7? And now there is release 85, yikes. Time to do it again smile.gif.

Is it much work to upgrade cpanel?

cPanel is upgraded when it is needed. There may be issues with our current setup that would cause problems with a newer version. The decision is made when we are sure there won't be issues with the upgrade.

To update CPanel itself isn't that difficult at all, it's dealing with all the 'Cpanelisms' (read: broken scripts/services) after the upgrade that is a real pain.

IPS seems to do it real quick on their hosting service(I co-own a site that hosts with them, not for long though. Tomorrow next week they're coming to ASO tongue.gif )

It was just released today, so you have to give it a bit before we just right in. The good news is that there's some cool stuff in there, at least. Horde 3.0, Search Engine Submit is gone (thank god!), and some minor bugfixes to boot. I expect to upgrade tomorrow, provided I don't see anyone screaming bloody murder on the cPanel forums.

Wow, just installed in the ASO company server and I have to admit it's pretty much the BEST webmail app of the 3. By far. I think you'll all like it a lot smile.gif

Woot! only took me 2 minutes to screw up horde.  I was playing around with the layout option.  Not really intuitive.... or maybe I'm an idiot.

edit: lol fixed

Anybody having problems getting the weather on the new horde???

I add weather to my layout and only get an error.

It was removed in this release because it was outdated and close to useless.
