RAID is reinitializing on Bea. I've stopped apache to allow the process to complete much more quickly and avoid subsequent reboots.
I'll also be testing the disks briefly, as this is the second RAID initialization for Bea today. Updates to follow.

Status update:
RAID is still initializing, currently at 67%. I'll be checking the SMART status on those drives, as it doesn't normally seem to take this long. I've gotten no alarms from the RAID controller itself, so the hardware should be okay.

RAID initialization complete; now fscking and performing disk hardware checks.

filesystem check complete, now testing the actual hardware.

Bea is now back up and serving HTTP requests. all testing completed successfully.
