Hi,

I've designed my website in Dreamweaver and I've now bought a domain name and the tiny package from ASO and want to get my website online.

This is totally new to me and maybe I'm being stupid, but I can't seem to find any where that can just talk me through it simply!

I've been trying to upload my site to ASO using dreamweaver with no success. And the fact that I seem to keep losing my connection to cPanel isn't making things any easier.

Can someone please help me?? Or point me in the direction of some simple instructions.

Thanks, Mark

Here's a video that might help. I haven't taken the time to watch it so I don't know how good it is. I haven't used Dreamweaver in a fair number of years.

How are you getting to cpanel? Are you using cpanel.yourdomain.com, or yourdomain.com:2082? (The second is preferred) I'm assuming that you have all of the FTP information you need.

Oh, and don't worry. :P I was in the exact same spot you were a few months ago.

Well after you get your connection problems out of the way:

I found out that in order for the page that you made to show on your www.yourdomain.com you need to transfer the page into the domains subfolder labeled www.  some say to upload to public_html, either way its best if you label your main page index.html.

I had the hardest time figuring this out on my own so theres you have a quick heads up :)
