Hi everyone,

We've decided on a location for the first ASO customer meetup (explained a bit here)! It is as follows:

Agave Restaurant
242 Boulevard Southeast
Atlanta, GA 30312
Phone number: (404) 588-0006

Time: 6 PM to 8 PM
Date: Thursday, June 10, 2010

We'll be providing appetizers and a drink ticket to every attendee. Agave has a huge selection of drinks ranging from beer to margaritas and everything in between and the food is pretty good as well, so it should be nice. You'll have a chance to talk to ASO customers and employees, network, learn some things about hosting and tech, and have fun.

In addition to free food and a free drink, we're giving away some stuff that you can take home and use in the future. Lucky attendees will have a chance to win some great books on Building Social Web Applications, Learning Rails, and designing High Performance Web Sites, and of course we're also giving away some free web hosting. Another two lucky attendees will win $50 gift certificates that can be used towards any A Small Orange product or service.

If you are interested in coming, please RSVP using the very short form on this page:
https://www.asmallor.../atlmeetup/rsvp

Your RSVP is obviously not binding, but it’ll give us a better idea of how many people are planning on coming so we can plan accordingly. Once we have a location confirmed, we'll send an email with that information. We will only email those who RSVP, so please do RSVP to let us know you're interested.

We're looking forward to seeing all of you at Agave on Thursday, June 10 at 6 PM. If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to contact us.

I look forward to meeting you and others at ASO as well as my fellow customers!
Presently, a fortune would seem to be a dwindling factor, yet a family is a flourishing figure which if cared for right can bring great delight and joy for a long lifetime and forward.

Now lets see if I can grab a few hours sleep before the event. Don't be surprised if I'm a little groggy from just waking up ;)

Congratulations to the folks who won stuff!

Hopefully we'll be able to do this again in the future.

Somehow I doubt a UK meet-up is that likely for me to stand a chance of attending ;)

You'd probably only end up being in London anyway :D Even things like the British Computing Society big meetings seem to all be based in London. It's not even central to the country!

I'm sure they'd check billing records and see which parts of the UK have the highest number of ASO customers first  ;)

Edit:  What the hell has happened to the logo/favicon :/

What's a Favicon? Chromium seems to hide them these days and use its own icon ;)

As for a hypothetical UK meeting, I think people just go for London because it is where lots of high-paying people are. It's easier to get to for international travel as well. How about we just skip the meeting and I get sent some of the free stuff? :D

You figure you drive a few hours south since the the company call  A small orange and Florida is the citrus capital of the world.

Or can we just rename the company a small peach
