For those of you who dont know me, I have been with ASO almost since the beginning. (mid 2004) I have moved up the ladder, so to speak. I started on a shared plan, was one of the first VPS customers, and eventually upgraded to a dedicated server, then a second dedicated. (I own both servers) I presently own several very popular forums based on vBulletin. Today, I get about 5 million pageviews a month. When I came to ASO I had one new forum. I have grown along with ASO.

Ok - enough bragging. Thats not my intent here.

Naturally, with the sale of ASO, I was concerned what it would mean for me. As an (owned) dedicated server customer, its not very easy for me to just 'move' to another host. My servers have to be physically packed up and shipped to the new location. SO naturally I was interested in Doug's plans for me. SO I pmd Doug and expressed my concerns. I received a phone call shortly after from Doug's secretary to set up a phone appointment with Doug a few days later.

Doug was a pleasure to talk with. Very professional and sincerely interested in my opinions and concerns. Within a short time, Doug put me completely at ease.

I now have very little doubt that the aquisition of ASO will be a good thing for the ASO customers. I believe you can expect the same level of dedication to customer service.

Thanks for sharing your success story. It is nice to see a customer stick around to grow with his or her hosting company.

It is not easy to get a new forum to become a successful. There are thousands of them and more every day. I am a little curious as to your secrets of success. I bet many could learn from you, myself included. Most webmasters want to grow, after all, and you certainly have. I'll take a look around here and see if you made any posts about how you became successful.
