I have a handful of little sites.
According to Awstats, all of them draw a proportionally high amount of traffic from Romania.
None of the sites have anything to do with Romania, so I'm wondering why this might be.

It's because it's one of the geo-locations that's a major source of spam, along with China, India, and Russia.
They're not looking for sites that have anything to do with where they reside. They're looking for vulnerable sites to exploit.
