chRootKit will help you identify any nasties you've got running on your machine. Highly recommended to run every now and again to make sure no rootkits are running, so that you can take appropriate action if they are.

http://www.chkrootkit.org/

To install, in SSH:

cd /root/
wget ftp://ftp.pangeia.com.br/pub/seg/pac/chkrootkit.tar.gz
tar -xvzf chkrootkit.tar.gz
cd chkrootkit-0.48
make sense

Then, when you want to run it, just SSH:

/root/chkrootkit-0.48/chkrootkit

Run it every now and again smile.gif
