Hey hey,

Sometime in February, my FTP session didn't connect right and I lost one of my websites' crucial files. I had absolutely no backup.

About a week later, I contact ASO, and I was told they didn't have any recent backups except for the day before.

Today, I logged into cPanel and tried to access "Righteous Backup". I was able to access the seed file from February 22nd and restore that missing file.

Now everything is backup and running!

Thanks guys!

Yeah, we're *just* starting to use this system now, so don't be surprised techs mention the old 1 day limit. It's not on all servers, so it's more likely than not that we only have the single day ones anyways.

Plus, we just developed some trouble with the new backup system that we're working on (it's failing to grab new incrementals randomly). So, just one more bug to work out and then we can push out more servers with it enabled.

Are you guys going to buy the MySQL Backup?

It is not really needed for me because I have a Cron Job running to backup the Database every hour. Then the Cron Job overwrites the new back up every day. Since the r1soft runs daily I see backups from over a week I have over 84 restore points I can do.

Thanks A Small Orange for this awesome backup system.
